I have just completed my first job interview since being laid off by my company name which for the time being will remain anonymous. I am way out of practice on this and although the questions were easy and I definitely had loads of apropos experience, the economy has a way of making any job offer feel like winning the lottery.
Why is it that each time everything seems so right with the world and that you feel that you are absolutely bullet proof in your position in your job, something happens to shake things up and turn your world upside down? Job loss affects everyone differently, I know. For me, it makes me feel unneeded, used up and worn out. I was smart enough to complete my certification that I had been working on as well as my college degree, but in this economy I feel that even that might not be enough to put me on the winning side of a job offer.
I guess all that anyone can do is to put it into the LORD's hands and pray that everything in the end will turn out for the best.
